Pharmacy Technician
Position Details
Shift/Status: Day shift (32 hours per week), Hourly
Position Purpose: Prepares and delivers medications to employees and/or nursing units under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Assists with duties for other pharmacy technicians, including training and delegation.
Education: High School Diploma; Completion of Certified Pharmacy Technician Test
Licensure: Illinois Department of Professional Regulation - Pharmacy Technician
Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Preferred
Proficiencies: Computer skills
Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal communication skills; ability to work independently; motor coordination to work with equipment; ability to understand oral/written instructions; basic computer skills.
Knowledge: Medical terminology
