Pinckneyville Community Hospital’s Gloria Przygoda Named One Of ICAHN’s 4 Under 40 Winners
The Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (ICAHN) announced its 2025 “4 Under 40” Hospital Leadership winners, including Family Nurse Practitioner Gloria Przygoda from Pinckneyville Community Hospital, during the organization’s Annual Conference held November 3 - 4 at the I-Hotel and Conference Center, Champaign.
Alongside her clinical duties, Przygoda serves as Director of the South-Central Area Health Education Center (AHEC), treats patients in the Wound Care Center, provides guidance for marketing and the hospital’s Employee Experience CareFirst Program. She has also spearheaded an effort to create a handicap-accessible park for the community, raising funds to bring a $750,000 playground to Pinckneyville.
“Gloria doesn’t just run programs – she builds legacies,” said Randy Dauby, Pinckneyville CEO. “She is a dynamic force in healthcare education, community outreach, and clinical excellence. Her work has been impactful in the area, and her leadership continues to shape the future of rural health.”
ICAHN’s “4 Under 40” Hospital Leadership Award is open to new and emerging leaders aged 40 and under employed by an ICAHN member hospital or as a member of this hospital’s board for at least two years with a strong record of innovation and outstanding performance.
Located in Princeton, IL, ICAHN is a network of 60 small, rural hospitals dedicated to strengthening the operations of its member hospitals through collaboration. The organization is composed of Illinois hospitals who have earned critical access hospital designation by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and is recognized nationally for its work with rural healthcare, administering several state, federal, and private healthcare programs.
