Randall Dauby honored with 2025 RLC President's Award
Rend Lake College is proud to honor Randall Dauby, CEO of Pinckneyville Community Hospital, as the 2025 President's Award recipient. On December 4, 2025, the RLC Foundation hosted its 46th Annual Dinner of the RLC Event Center, recognizing honored alumni, students and community members.
"This year’s honoree is an exceptional leader—an advocate for education, a steadfast partner to Rend Lake College, and a champion for rural healthcare—Mr. Randall Dauby," said Ragland. "Randy’s impact extends far beyond healthcare—he promotes Rend Lake College and our partnership with Pinckneyville Community Hospital both locally and statewide. He understands that strong healthcare and higher education go hand in hand, and he never misses an opportunity to highlight the value of the college, our programs, and our students. On behalf of Rend Lake College, the Board of Trustees, the Foundation Board of Directors, and our students—Randy, you have our deepest gratitude."
Dauby leads a $36 million healthcare organization consisting of a critical access hospital, rural health clinic, senior life behavioral program and a rehabilitation and fitness center. He has served in rural healthcare leadership throughout his entire career and understands the fragile environment of rural health. He is constantly advocating for the needs of rural healthcare providers near and far.
Dauby holds a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Accounting from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Ind.
“Nothing is more rewarding than when the work that you do makes a positive impact on the lives of others. I have worked in rural healthcare for over forty years, and what inspires me most of all is the dedicated, devoted staff who provide our community with the healthcare they deserve. While “rural” often gets overlooked, it is great to see how we can provide such quality care to those in need.” Dauby previously stated in the article, Dauby Named in 118 Rural Hospital and Health System CEOs to Know.
Dr. Charles Roe, Pinckneyville Hospital Board Member was excited when he had learned that Dauby was to be recognized by RLC President Lori Ragland for the Presidents Award at the RLC Foundation Dinner.

"He remains committed to be accessible to the staff of Pinckneyville Community Hospital and helps support the staff to ensure the level of care is the best for each patient receives. He has fostered a culture that has made Pinckneyville Community Hospital a gem for our community."
