FAMILY MEDICAL CENTER WELCOMES PRIEBE

3/7/22 – PINCKNEYVILLE, IL – Pinckneyville Community Hospital is pleased to announce that Miles Priebe, MSN, FNP-C will be joining the Family Medical Center and will be accepting new patients.

“I've been working as a hospitalist for almost six years and now have the chance to do what I've always wanted: truly follow in my dad's footsteps, which is a dream come true. I am humbled and ready to take on this challenge”, explained Miles Priebe.

While working as a hospitalist, Priebe worked side-by-side with the primary care physicians (Dr. Fozard, Dr. Reyes, Dr. Forbes and Dr. Haque) in the Family Medical Center to coordinate care for patients in the hospital. This experience gave him the opportunity to learn from each of these seasoned medical professionals while being immersed in real-life situations.

“Miles was hired in July 2016 as the Hospitalist providing daily management over oversight of every patient on PCH’s Acute Care floor.  He has done a tremendous job and is well positioned to follow patients that need care while in the hospital.  As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Miles is very well educated and versed in providing patients with all of their healthcare needs in the Family Medical Center as well as within the hospital.  PCH and the community are so very fortunate to have a well-respected practitioner as Miles Priebe.” said Randall Dauby, CEO.

Priebe received his Masters of Science in Nursing from Maryville University and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I like everything about patient care,” said Priebe. “It’s especially rewarding to care for patients in my hometown and to see their health improve.”

Priebe was born and raised in Pinckneyville, and has been employed at Pinckneyville Community Hospital for the past 14 years; First as a pharmacy technician, in the Fall of 2010 he became a Registered Nurse in Acute Care and most recently as a hospitalist.  Priebe resides in Pinckneyville with his wife, Kayla, and children, Easton, Anniston and Adaline.
