GENERAL SURGEON JOINS PINCKNEYVILLE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

6/21/2022– PINCKNEYVILLE, IL- Pinckneyville Community Hospital is excited to announce that Dr. Marie Gorski, General Surgeon, has joined the hospital staff.

“I am very pleased and excited to announce that Dr. Marie Gorski has joined Pinckneyville Community Hospital as our Board Certified General Surgeon,” announced Randall Dauby, CEO at Pinckneyville Community Hospital.  

Dr. Gorski obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology & Chemistry and was then accepted to Medical School at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.  She completed her residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago, IL.  Upon the completion of her residency, she has practiced as a General Surgeon in Tennessee and Southern Illinois for the past twenty-five years.  

Dr. Gorski specializes in outpatient surgery including appendectomy, hernia repair, gall bladder removal, breast biopsy and cancer procedures, screening colonoscopy, lumps, bumps, moles and more

“Dr. Gorski will be a wonderful addition to our Surgery/Family Medical Center team and a great benefit to our community.  We truly are fortunate to have the surgical services of Dr. Gorski and are happy to have her join our hospital community,” said Dauby.
