Pinckneyville, IL – January, 2024  Pinckneyville Community Hospital (PCH) has been honored for its commitment to providing compassionate healthcare services at the annual Custom Learning System (CLS) conference held in November 2023. The hospital was recognized for its exemplary dedication to the surrounding communities, offering empathetic, respectful, and dignified care.

These significant awards add to PCH's existing achievements as a Five-Star Hospital, recognized by the esteemed National Rural Rating System (NRRS). The latest recognition is based on patient satisfaction surveys, further highlighting PCH's exceptional quality of care.

At the CLS conference, PCH received an impressive total of twenty-eight (28) Breakthrough Awards, which are derived from patient surveys measuring the overall patient experience. The awards encompass specific categories surveyed and provide an overall rating. PCH's outstanding scores either met or surpassed the National Top Box Scores, with several departments exceeding the benchmark by 10%. Notably, the surgery department achieved ratings in the 95th percentile.
