PCH Imaging Department Passes State Mammography Inspection with Flying Colors

Pinckneyville Community Hospital (PCH) is proud to announce that its Imaging Department has successfully passed the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) State Inspection, conducted by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).

The MQSA inspection is an important part of ensuring that mammography services across the state meet strict federal and state guidelines for image quality, staff qualifications, equipment performance, and patient safety.

“We’re proud of our Imaging Team for meeting and exceeding these high standards,” said Lacy York, Imaging Manager at PCH. “Our top priority is making sure patients feel confident and safe when they come to us for care. This inspection result reflects the hard work and dedication of every person on our team.”

The successful completion of the inspection highlights PCH’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality imaging services close to home. The Imaging Department offers a full range of diagnostic imaging, including 3D mammography, and continually invests in staff training and up-to-date technology.
