Pinckneyville Community Hospital Welcomes Scott Murfin, DPT, to the Wellness Center

Pinckneyville Community Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Murfin, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), to the team at the Wellness Center. Murfin brings a wealth of expertise, a passion for patient-centered care, and a strong commitment to helping individuals achieve their health and mobility goals.

A native of Southern Illinois, Murfin earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Maryville University and brings multiple years of clinical experience to his practice. Specializing in orthopedics, he is known for developing individualized treatment plans that blend evidence-based techniques with compassionate, patient-centered care.

“I’m excited to join the Wellness Center at Pinckneyville Community Hospital,” said Murfin. “I look forward to working with patients of all ages and activity levels to help them regain strength, restore function, and improve their overall quality of life.”

The addition of Murfin expands the Wellness Center’s ability to serve the community with high-quality rehabilitation services close to home.
