Teamwork With A Purpose
Teamwork with a purpose!
Recently, the leadership team traded conference tables for team-building challenges. Throughout the retreat, leaders worked through a variety of hands-on activities that tested communication, trust, collaboration, adaptability, attention to detail, and accountability. From blindfolded obstacle courses and bike-building competitions, each activity reinforced lessons that translate directly back to the workplace.
Teams navigated unexpected obstacles, solved problems together, and learned firsthand how communication and teamwork can influence outcomes. There were plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and more than a few opportunities to step outside of everyone's comfort zone.
The day concluded with a bike-building challenge made possible through a partnership with Foster Love. Working in teams, leaders assembled bikes, helmets, and personalized license plates that were presented to the Perry-Jackson County Child Advocacy Center for children in our local communities.
A big thank you to Foster Love and the Perry-Jackson County Child Advocacy Center for helping us turn a fun team-building activity into something meaningful for our community.
