Jennifer Greer Continues Career Growth Through Pinckneyville Community Hospital's Grow Our Own Initiative
A lifelong resident of the Pinckneyville community, Jennifer has dedicated more than 11 years to serving patients at Pinckneyville Community Hospital. She joined the organization in May 2015 as a receptionist, assisting patients at both Pinckneyville Community Hospital and the Family Medical Center. After 10 years in that role, she advanced to Collection Clerk, where she served for one year before recently accepting the position of Health Information Coordinator.
After more than a decade of growing her career at PCH, Jennifer is taking the next step by pursuing a degree in Health Information Technology (HIT) at Kaskaskia College. The education will build on her experience as Health Information Coordinator while preparing her to earn her Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential. Through the Grow Our Own initiative, Pinckneyville Community Hospital is proud to invest in employees like Jennifer who are committed to advancing their education, strengthening their skills, and continuing to serve the healthcare needs of the communities they call home.
