Pinckneyville Community Hospital Auxiliary Purchases New Patient Shuttle
Patients visiting Pinckneyville Community Hospital and the Family Medical Center will soon have a more convenient way to travel from the parking lot to their destination, thanks to the generosity of the Pinckneyville Community Hospital Auxiliary.
The Auxiliary recently purchased a new golf cart-style shuttle to assist patients who may have difficulty walking from the parking lot to either facility. The new shuttle features removable doors, providing protection from rain and cold weather and making it a welcome addition during the winter months.
The purchase reflects the Auxiliary’s ongoing mission to give back to Pinckneyville Community Hospital and its patients. Through fundraising, volunteer efforts and community involvement, Auxiliary members help provide resources and services that enhance the patient experience and support the hospital.
“We are grateful to the Auxiliary for their continued generosity and commitment to our patients,” said Randall Dauby, Chief Executive Officer. “This new shuttle is a great example of how their efforts make a direct difference for the people we serve.”
Pinckneyville Community Hospital appreciates the Auxiliary members whose time, dedication and fundraising efforts continue to make a positive impact on the hospital and the community.
