Pinckneyville Community Hospital Invests in Future Nurse Through "Grow Our Own" Program
Pinckneyville Community Hospital is proud to announce that Madison Kunkel, a nursing student at Kaskaskia College, has been selected to participate in the hospital's Educational Assistance Program as part of its "Grow Our Own" initiative.
Madison brings a wealth of healthcare experience to the program, having worked as a traveling Certified Nursing Assistant in a variety of healthcare settings. Her hands-on experience caring for patients has provided her with a strong clinical foundation as she continues her education toward becoming a registered nurse.
Through the hospital's Educational Assistance Program, Pinckneyville Community Hospital invests in aspiring healthcare professionals by helping cover the cost of their education while developing the next generation of caregivers for the community.
Upon graduating from Kaskaskia College and obtaining her nursing license, Madison will join the Pinckneyville Community Hospital nursing staff. As part of the program, she has committed to an employment agreement with the hospital following graduation.
Pinckneyville Community Hospital is proud to support students like Madison as they advance their education and prepare for meaningful healthcare careers. Through initiatives like the Educational Assistance Program, the hospital continues to invest in the future of local healthcare and the communities it serves.
