The Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (ICAHN) announced its 2025 “4 Under 40” Hospital Leadership winners, including Family Nurse Practitioner Gloria Przygoda from Pinckneyville Community Hospital, during the organization’s Annual Conference held November 3 - 4 at the I-Hotel and Conference Center, Champaign.

The Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (ICAHN) announced Pinckneyville Community Hospital as a 2025 IMPACT Award Winner for the hospital’s CareFirst Journey during the organization’s Annual Conference held November 3 - 4 at the I-Hotel and Conference Center, Champaign.

The Community Award showcases ICAHN member hospitals that initiated a new approach to improve patient relationships and care, implemented a new process flow or life-safety improvement, found a creative way to motivate and inspire staff, and improved the well-being of staff or patients.

The Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) has awarded accreditation to Pinckneyville Community Hospital’s Laboratory based on results of a recent on-site inspection as part of the CAP’s Accreditation Programs. Recognized for rigorous and robust standards, CAP accreditation elevates quality and mitigates risk, an important way that laboratories can contribute to improved patient outcomes.

Pinckneyville Community Hospital (PCH) is pleased to announce the addition of Podiatry Services to its Specialty Clinic, expanding access to comprehensive foot and ankle care for patients in the community. Beginning in November, Dr. Dan Brown from Southern Illinois Podiatry will begin seeing patients at PCH.

Pinckneyville Community Hospital is proud to donate a microscope to Pinckneyville Community High School to help enhance hands-on learning in science education.
