Pinckneyville Community Hospital is proud to announce the addition of a new state-of-the-art Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) machine to its Respiratory Department, furthering its commitment to providing high-quality diagnostic care close to home.

Pinckneyville Community Hospital is partnering with Sharps Compliance, Inc. to combat the growing epidemic of prescription drug misuse by providing solutions to safely dispose of opioid painkillers and other unused medications. 

A MedSafe® drug collection and disposal receptacle is now located in Pinckneyville Community Hospital Lobby for the safe and anonymous disposal of unused or expired medicines and controlled substances.  

Ethan DuClos, PT, DPT, of Pinckneyville Community Hospital, has been awarded the professional designation of Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Pinckneyville Community Hospital (PCH) has received the American Heart Association Get With The Guidelines® - Stroke Rural Recognition Bronze award for efforts to optimize stroke care and eliminate rural health care outcome disparities

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development offices in Mt. Vernon, Champaign and Washington D.C. visited the Hospital on Wednesday July 9th.
